At Marcia’s Looks, each stage of our program is designed to grow your skills through hands-on experience and education. Here’s how it works:
Six-month Assistant:
During this phase, assistants are required to attend at least three classes. This will give you the foundational knowledge to excel, from mastering basic techniques to understanding client care.
One-year Stylist:
As a stylist, you’ll attend at least two classes (but no more than three). You’ll also be expected to have no more than three redos, ensuring that your skills are on point. Additionally, you’ll assist a Master Stylist in at least one class, gaining insight into more advanced techniques and client interactions.
One-year Master:
In this stage, you’ll start stepping into a leadership role. You’ll need to assist in at least one class and teach three courses before you’re eligible to become an educator. This reinforces your knowledge and gives you experience in passing your skills on to others.
By progressing through these levels, you’ll gain both technical mastery and leadership skills, preparing you to thrive as an educator in the beauty industry!
