For newly licensed cosmetologists ready to build a luxury-level career
PHASE 1: Fresh Talent Onboarding (First 30 Days)
Goal: Introduce new grads to salon culture, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
Includes:
Welcome Orientation & Salon Tour
Shadow Days with Senior Stylists
Daily Hands-On Practice (Shampoo, Blowouts, Prep Work)
Training in Booking System & Consultation Skills
Two Entry-Level Classes (Color Theory, Extension Basics)
PHASE 2: Foundation Assistant (Months 2–6)
Goal: Build core technical skills while assisting seasoned professionals.
Responsibilities:
Assist with color, cuts, and extension services
Prep stations, manage tools, ensure client comfort
Take 3 required classes (e.g., Balayage Basics, Tape-Ins, Signature Blowouts)
Weekly check-ins with an assigned Mentor Stylist
Quarterly skill assessment
PHASE 3: Junior Stylist Experience (Months 7–12)
Goal: Begin taking your own clients under supervision while refining technical skills.
Responsibilities:
Serve models and clients with approved services
Attend 2 continuing education classes (Advanced Color or Custom Cuts)
Must keep a client satisfaction rating of 4.5+
May assist in 1 Marcia’s Looks Workshop
Portfolio review and evaluation for promotion
PHASE 4: Elevated Artist (Year 2+)
Goal: Step into independence with the confidence of strong fundamentals.
Opportunities:
Choose between Commission, Chair Rental, or Suite
Get advanced mentorship in branding, social media, and business
Teach a class or lead a workshop demo
Eligible for Educator Track or Color/Extension Specialist certification
Invitation to exclusive industry events and shows
