Our mission is to use hair, beauty education, and community support to help individuals experiencing hair loss while creating educational opportunities for the next generation of beauty professionals.
Through hair donations, financial contributions, volunteering, and cosmetology education, we want every contribution to have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Our Mission
Marcia’s Looks Foundation was created with a simple belief: hair can have a second purpose.
We collect donated human hair that may be used to support individuals experiencing hair loss from cancer, alopecia, and other medical circumstances, including initiatives involving wigs, toppers, ponytails, hair extensions, and alternative hair solutions.
But our mission goes beyond hair loss support.
Donated hair may also become an educational resource, helping cosmetology students and future beauty professionals gain hands-on experience working with real human hair and learning techniques involving wigs, toppers, extensions, cutting, blending, customization, and styling.
Our goal is to connect beauty, compassion, and education in ways that can continue making an impact.
How We Turn Hair Into Hope
Every hair donation is different, and not every donation will be used for the same purpose.
Depending on its length, condition, texture, characteristics, and current needs, donated hair may be used to support Foundation initiatives involving:
Wigs and alternative hair solutions
Hair toppers and ponytails
Hair extensions
Support for people experiencing hair loss
Cosmetology education and hands-on training
This allows donated hair to be used where it can provide meaningful value rather than limiting every donation to one specific purpose.
Supporting People Experiencing Hair Loss
Hair loss can affect someone’s confidence and self-image, whether it results from cancer treatment, alopecia, or another circumstance.
Marcia’s Looks Foundation seeks to support people experiencing hair loss through initiatives involving wigs, toppers, extensions, ponytails, and other alternative hair solutions.
Our goal is to help make professional hair solutions and support more accessible while treating every individual with care, dignity, and respect.
Supporting Cosmetology Education
Helping someone today is important. Teaching someone how to help others tomorrow can multiply that impact.
Part of the mission of Marcia’s Looks Foundation is supporting education for cosmetology students and future beauty professionals.
When appropriate, donated human hair may be used for educational and hands-on training involving:
Wigs and wig customization
Hair toppers and alternative hair solutions
Hair extensions
Cutting and blending
Color and customization techniques
Styling and finishing
Working with real human hair can give students valuable experience while helping prepare them to better serve clients with different hair and hair-loss needs throughout their careers.
Donate Your Hair
Your hair can have a second purpose.
Marcia’s Looks Foundation accepts qualifying human hair donations in Orlando and by mail for use through our charitable and educational initiatives.
Hair Donation Requirements:
• Minimum 12 inches in length
• Hair must be clean and completely dry
• Hair should be securely divided and tied before cutting or packaging
• Follow our Hair Donation Guide for preparation and mailing instructions

Complimentary Haircut for Qualifying Hair Donations
If you’re ready for a big haircut and want your hair to make a difference, your qualifying donation haircut is on us.
Guests donating more than 12 inches of qualifying hair may receive a complimentary haircut through our hair-donation initiative.
To qualify, please arrive with your hair clean and ready for the donation haircut.
This allows your transformation to become the beginning of something new—not only for you, but potentially for someone else or a future beauty professional.

Hair isn’t the only way to help.
Financial contributions to Marcia’s Looks Foundation can support our programs, materials, educational initiatives, outreach, and efforts to assist people experiencing hair loss.
You can choose to make a one-time contribution or support the Foundation on an ongoing basis.

If you or someone you know is experiencing hair loss and would like to be considered for support through Marcia’s Looks Foundation, we invite you to contact us.
Submitting a request allows our team to learn more about the individual’s circumstances and determine whether one of our current or future programs may be appropriate.
Because resources, donated hair, available services, and program capacity can vary, submitting a request does not guarantee assistance or a specific hair solution.
